Terms of use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
The short version
- Habitual is free to use, and Plus adds more on top.
- The store shows Plus’s price and plans before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the App Store or Google Play, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- When Plus ends, nothing is deleted.
- What you write in Habitual is yours. It isn’t medical advice.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Wildemark Oy (business ID 3660865-9), Vaniljakuja 1b, 00990 Helsinki, Finland (“we”, “us”), the maker of Habitual. By using the app you accept them. They apply from October 26, 2026. You can reach us at [email protected], and how we handle data is in our privacy policy.
2. The free version and Plus
The free version is complete on its own and doesn’t run out. Habitual Plus (“Plus”) adds more on top. The app and the store show what the free version and Plus include at the time you buy.
3. Buying Plus
Plus is sold through the App Store and Google Play, as subscriptions and, where offered, a one-time lifetime purchase that never renews. The store shows each plan’s length and price, in your currency and with any taxes, before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
4. Subscriptions renew until you cancel
- A subscription renews automatically for the same length unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage and cancel it in your store: on an iPhone, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, in the Google Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
- When you cancel, Plus stays until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- If a price changes, the store tells you beforehand and, where its rules ask, asks you to agree. A new price applies only from the next period.
5. Free trials and offers
- A free trial, when one is offered, is available once per App Store or Google Play account. When it ends, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. If you buy a plan during a trial, the rest of the trial ends.
- We may offer lower introductory or promotional prices. The store shows the offer’s price, how long it lasts and the regular price after it before you buy. When the offer ends, the subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel.
6. Refunds
Apple and Google take the payments, so refunds go through them under their rules: for the App Store at reportaproblem.apple.com, and for Google Play through Google Play’s refund help. Your rights under the law where you live, such as a right of withdrawal, aren’t affected.
7. Your devices and family
Plus belongs to the App Store or Google Play account that bought it. On another device with the same account and platform, use Restore purchases in the app. Habitual has no account of its own, so Plus doesn’t carry over between iPhone and Android. Plus is shared with a family group only if the store listing says Family Sharing is available.
8. When Plus ends
When a trial or subscription ends, nothing is deleted. If you’re using more than the free version allows, you choose what to keep using, and the rest waits, archived or unused, until there’s room or Plus is back. You can still export your data.
9. Apple’s Standard EULA
If you got Habitual from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) applies alongside these terms, and where the two differ, the Standard EULA applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your purchases.
10. Your content
What you put into Habitual is yours. It stays on your phone, we never receive it, and we claim no rights to it. As we don’t have a copy, we can’t restore it if it’s lost, so keep a backup of your phone or an export.
11. Not medical advice
Habitual helps you keep track of habits and goals. It isn’t medical, health, psychological or other professional advice. Talk to a doctor or another professional before changing your diet, exercise, medication or sleep, and get help if you’re quitting something like alcohol, smoking or drugs.
12. Using the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Habitual on devices you own or control. Please don’t copy, resell or modify the app, get around its purchases, or take it apart, except where the law allows. The app, its name and its designs belong to us.
We keep improving Habitual, so its features may change. We won’t take away a Plus feature during a period you’ve already paid for, except where the law or a store requires it.
13. Warranty and liability
We work to keep Habitual working well, but can’t promise it will always be free of bugs or available. As far as the law allows, the app is provided as it is, we aren’t liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss or for data lost from your phone, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the claim.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit, and it doesn’t affect your rights as a consumer where you live.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes go to the District Court of Helsinki. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and can bring a claim in its courts.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We’ll update the date at the top, and say so in the app before a change that matters takes effect. A change never alters the price of a period you’ve already paid for. If you don’t agree to new terms, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription.
